Review of the Cherwell Dial-a-Ride Service

Oxfordshire County Council and Cherwell District Council are currently reviewing the funding and operations of the Cherwell District Dial-a-Ride Service, prior to seeking approval for new arrangements to take effect from 1 April 2012. In the case of the County Council, the Cabinet Member for Transport (or possibly the full Cabinet) will be invited to agree funding for new arrangements at a meeting in September or October 2011. This decision will be based on the costs and benefits of the dial-a-ride service, and the views of the local councils, service users, groups representing disabled and mobility-impaired people, and other stakeholder groups. The Councils are now seeking the views of consultees to guide our thinking about the pattern of service that we may seek to provide and this consultation has been created so that Public Transport Representatives and Parish Clerks can report their Council's views on the Cherwell Dial-a-Ride service.

If you would like to take part in this consultation please follow link to the link to Oxfordshire County Council's website and follow the instructions.
